Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has unveiled a substantial plan for infrastructure and development investments in the Brus municipality during his visit to the Rasina District. The initiative includes an allocation of approximately €6 million for road reconstruction, with the objective of paving 15 kilometers of roads by the end of October. This effort is part of a broader program aimed at enhancing road access for nearly every village in the municipality.
In addition to road improvements, Vučić announced the upcoming commencement of the €2 million Vignjište water-supply project, which is expected to begin by the end of the year. This project is part of ongoing discussions with a potential investor about establishing a new factory that could generate around 200 new jobs in the area, further boosting the local economy.
During his tour, President Vučić visited an organic fruit-processing company, where he highlighted the availability of government support for businesses looking to purchase machinery. This support includes non-refundable funding of approximately €42,000, along with Development Fund loans offered at fixed interest rates ranging from 2 to 2.5 percent, providing a significant financial boost to local enterprises.
In a related development, Vučić announced his plans to attend the opening of a new robot factory in Šabac on August 29. This event marks another milestone in Serbia’s ongoing efforts to advance its industrial capabilities and stimulate regional economic growth.
