In the wake of a deadly explosion in Delhi, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a defiant message to India, praising the “unbreakable spirit” of both nations. Addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Netanyahu expressed his condolences for the eight lives lost in the blast near the Red Fort.

“Terror may strike our cities, but it will never shake our souls,” Netanyahu stated powerfully. He stressed that India and Israel are “ancient civilisations” built on “eternal truths” and share an “unveiling spirit” that cannot be broken by acts of violence. He assured Modi that “Israel stands strong with you in sorrow and in strength.”

The personal message from Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, was one of many expressions of global solidarity. “To our dear friend Narendra Modi and to the brave people of India… we send our deepest condolences to the families of the victims,” the statement read, reinforcing the close personal and diplomatic ties between the leaders.

The blast, which occurred on Monday around 7 pm, involved a Hyundai i20 car and damaged several other vehicles. The incident is now being investigated as a significant terror plot.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has officially taken over the probe after being directed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. A dedicated team under senior supervision has been formed. Sources have revealed that the investigation is focused on a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) module believed to have executed the terrorist attack.
